Be Afraid of THEM

Uganda People News: Bwanika warns parents on homosexuality

The President of the People’s development Party (PDP) Dr. Abed Bwanika has appealed to parents to be cautious of their children when choosing the schools to take them to so as to avoid them from adopting the immoral practices of homosexuality and lesbianism.

He says, there are schools in the country set up by homosexuality and lesbianism organisations to encourage the immoral practices.

Although the two practices are banned by the Ugandan constitution, they are widely practiced. Kiwewesi a prominent Kampala pastor was recently accused of sodomy.

Bwanika told journalists at the PDP headquarters in Kampala yesterday that parents should advocate for the revision of the Uganda schooling system to encourage, the setting up of mixed schools and abolishment of single schools because they encourage the immoral practices.

He says parents should also stop taking their children to boarding primary schools, where most learn the immoral behaviours. He says keeping children in day schools will help parents impart moral values to their children and to constantly monitor their behaviours.

The PDP president appealed to doctors, who operate many of the victims of homosexuality to report such cases to the police so that the culprits can be punished.

Bwanika also appealed to the government to priotise the fight against the practice of homosexuality through increased funding to the Ethics ministry, the police and increased sensitisation programmes on the dangers of the practices.

Uganda doesn't have much luck in its choice of presidential candidates, does it!

One idiot after another, all jumping on the same convenient bandwagon...

Obviously any doctor who agreed with this would be breaching patient confidentiality and deserves to be struck off any medical register going.

As for the schools, I'm surprised that the Teachers Unions aren't up in arms over the obvious slur on their professional ethics as well.

Ludicrous!! Induces laughter without mirth.

Why does the mentality of 'ideal' in Uganda consist of little boxed- in thoughts of certain bigots in power? I envision chains wrapped tightly around a tiny box, strangling it, suffocating its rights. The tiny box is of course, referring to the Ugandan mind.
What irks me is that few ever feel the need to break free. Why??

Is this man RAVING MAD? At least in the case of Orombi he´s trying to justify his thieving ministry in the United States...too bad for him the California Supreme Court has the case now (after Orombi lost at a lower court).

Address REAL LIFE problems would be considered positive politics...at least amongst the sane!

Spiralx, Gay bashing IS political cash in Uganda. Every politician does it. And,with impunity...!

Princess, indeed laughter without mirth. But, how many people in Uganda truly believe that? This gay Ugandan swears to have never, ever studied in a single sex school, [from the rumours, i do wish I had had the chance!!!!!!!]

And Princess, I am impressed. You have broken out of that said box.

Leornardo, is their any sane politician? The mob drives the logic, so, sanity is out of the window!
